Class 5 is around the time when the more serious topics are taught in class and the now 10-year-old student is ready to grasp them. This is also reflected in the topics the Boards have chosen for this class. We believe in starting early. By the time the student is in Class 9, the time for the development and firming up of concepts is already over. With the Board Examination in sight, it is unrealistic to think the student will quickly develop an understanding of mathematical concepts that has not been developed over so many years in the past. So, LET’S START EARLY!
Mathematica focuses on preparing a base first and then builds on that foundation to prepare students not just for the topics being taught in class, but with a holistic understanding of the subject for at their age. It is critical that the fundamental concepts are understood well, so that the ones to follow will also be strong. This solid foundation prepares the students very well for more complex concepts that they encounter in senior classes.
Carefully designed study material and course structures ensure that the concepts are well-understood and well-cemented. Customised worksheets and rigorous classroom practice ensure the student gets used to implementing the concepts learned. Practice tests ensure that the student is not just math-wise, but, is also, exam-ready!
